3 tips for incredible headshot photography
Remain calm, relax.
It’s extremely common for people not to like the idea of headshot photography. The reality of it is that we often feel self conscious because we see ourselves in poor quality photos (selfies!). Relax, it is my job to make you look fantastic.
Take multiple headshots.
People only present the best version of themselves, that’s why some people on social media look like models. But to achieve that look, a photographer may have taken 100 different headshots. I will only pick a handful of the best to bring out your personality.
Smile. Or don’t.
Looking friendly and comfortable in your headshot photo is key to a making it look great. Some people love to smile and it comes naturally, but if that’s not you, then just do what feels right – your energy will reflect into your headshot either way.
